Here's a recommendation you shouldn't miss! Out of all the Whitsunday tour guide companies out there, we found this gang to be ahhhhmazing! We couldn't fault them and want to tell everyone about them. 🙌🏻

Ocean Rafting’s Whitsunday tours visit the “wild side” of the islands which have beautiful natural scenery brimming with marine, bird and animal life.

They operate two exciting boat tours daily from Coral Sea Marina in Airlie Beach, the Northern Exposure and Southern Lights.

We went for the Northern Exposure eco adventure which is a favourite amongst avid snorkellers because it is the only Whitsunday adventure which includes two different snorkel destinations.

We really enjoyed snorkelling around Hook Island which included Mantaray Bay and Maureens Cove.

Ever since our boys were small, we've snorkelled all over the world with them and it's something we really enjoy doing as a family.

I'm usually in the middle holding hands with the boys and trying to communicate, whilst 'hubby/pappa" dives down to point out things to us. 🐟🐡🐙🐠💦

The one big difference about snorkelling here is having to use the stinger suits. Very attractive I must say. 🤣🤣

I don't think it matters what time of year you go, there'll always be jellyfish floating around waiting for you and these suits do the trick. Ocean Rafting have stinger suits for hire and it's well spent money for sure.

Our tour also included a visit to the stunning beach at Hill Inlet on the north end and a guided National Park walk to Hill Inlet lookout above the silica sand of Whitehaven. This is where you'll get all your best piccies and experience the stunning cove where the tide shifts the white sand and water to create the famous swirling fusion of turquoise colours you see on everyone's travel photos. 📷

The fabulous crews on Ocean Rafting’s tours are well trained professionals. You can really tell they love their jobs and they go all-in to ensure your day is lots of fun and memorable.

Reef and island naturalist talks are offered by the Skipper and Eco Host with on board vessel commentary, guided walk information and snorkelling instruction. They have great local knowledge of the island’s flora, fauna and marine wildlife and informative talks include historical, geographical and ecological information of the Whitsunday area.
